Enjoy
things not Usually available to non-Horse Owners!
At our
Barn, we provide a variety of horses available for lessons.
Not only do we teach all of the traditional aspects of horseback riding
lessons, but our students also learn other areas of horse handling
and care, giving them the opportunity to enjoy horses in more ways
than just riding without the added responsibility and time consumption
that owning a horse takes.

Be
Prepared!
Often
times, horse lovers take lessons for a while and decide they would
like a horse of their own. It is not until they get home with their
new horse that they realize that there is a lot more care involved than
just riding. That is why at our barn, we specialize in
teaching about the WHOLE horse, not just how to sit on a
saddle. We typically start with our miniature horses (a lot
less intimidating) teaching students horse safety and basic care,
along with driving a carriage (and riding for our little riders).
Students progress onto our larger horses once they are comfortable in the
previous levels of horsemanship. We have taken special care to put
together classifications for each level of horsemanship and riding.
Because of our classifications, students always know what level they
are at making it easy to constantly have new goals to achieve.
If our students do decide to purchase a horse of their own, not only
are they well prepared for all of the aspects of horse ownership,
but we also have a purchase program to help students find a suitable mount
for their needs.

No
worries for parents!
Being very
family oriented, we understand concerns that come from
parents. We teach from age 4 and up using appropriate size mounts
for every rider. Our program stresses safety above all else.
We have quality instructors that are realistic in evaluating the level and
maturity of students, therefore not pushing them into something they
are not yet ready for.

Below is
a basic list of what is learned at each level in our lesson program.
