SILLY HAT DAYS WITH HORSES!!!!

NO ONE is safe from the Hat box!!!!!

July Advanced week campers warm up for a trail ride.

We also made Marionette String Puppet Horses... Here they are

In order of appearance- "Midnight Thunder"  "Morning Thunder"  "Dancing Phantom"  "Remi"..............and "Remi" with her activated tail mechanism

August advanced week brought games such as Capture the Flag, Traffic Jam, Who stole the Mona Lisa, and of course.. The "Herd Velvet into the Round Pen" game. (Pictured below)

And Velvet is off.. Boy she can run fast with those little legs!!

Velvet tries to "BLEND IN" with the rest of the horses in the pasture. "Hey maybe they won't notice me" she says

  But the  chase continues!

In a desperate attempt, Velvet conferences with B'lou hoping to get all of the camp ponies chasing a different Mini around so she can eat grass!!

But no luck.. so the chase continues

Velvet makes yet another desperate attempt to get away, by cutting though every narrow passage she sees... the smaller the better!!

The Haflinger are closing in...   And she is nabbed!!! But how can you steer while holding a Mini's mane???

Velvet almost breaks away, until the girls figure it all out... How many Haflingers does it take to lead a mini??? The question of the day!

You need one to hold the mini, One to lead the one who is holding the mini, and One to use a crop to keep the one who is leading the horse who is holding  the mini going... you got all that?? Don't  try this at home!!!

So with Velvet caught, what fun is left to do?  Well, for Bianca (the dog) it was time to go for a ride!!!

More pictures coming soon!!
